The Curebrytyjska grupa rockowa założona w 1976 roku w Crawley.

Charakter muzyki zespołu początkowo opierał się na założeniach punk rocka, lecz z biegiem czasu grupa wykształciła swój własny, indywidualny styl. Obecnie muzyka The Cure uważana jest za rock alternatywny[1], natomiast grupa stanowi jeden z najważniejszych zespołów tworzących tzw. „nową falę” i „zimną falę”; zespół uważany za jednego z prekursorów rocka gotyckiego, również reprezentuje sobą post-punk, alternatywny pop i synthpop. The Cure jest członkiem Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
